This tour combines horse riding through a cork oak woodland and the beautiful hilly plains of the Alentejo with a canoe journey along the banks of the river, moving with the ebb and flow of the tide.
Here, the Sado River, which flows from south to north until it meets the Atlantic, has narrow banks with dense and verdant vegetation.
The journey starts at Casa das Cegonhas, a property surrounded by cork oaks and lulled by the sound of birds.

Riding horseback over two days offers unique access to remote landscapes and wildlife. One night is included, deepening connections to local culture and cuisine.
On the first day, we begin on horseback amidst the dunes and sandy stretches of Comporta. Later, we combined horse riding in Alentejo with a canoe adventure. On the second day, the journey continues to Serra da Arrábida, perfectly flowing with nature and our companions—the horses.

If you want to learn or perfect the techniques of equestrian art, we offer lessons in various modalities, adapted to each individual's experience level, in both group and private formats, and at a schedule to be defined.
