Horses in the river

Welcome to Cavalos no Rio, a tour that joins the most noble animal in the world to the Canoe trip along the banks of the River Sado.

Located in Alentejo 100km from Lisbon, next to Vale do Guizo, 10km from Alcácer do Sal, this is the most recent experience of Cavalos na Areia.

Departing from the Rural Hotel Casa das Cegonhas in Herdade de Porches, the trip begins with a horseback ride towards the River Sado, where the canoe route of about 3 km begins. Taking advantage of the moving tides, we disembark at the North or South pier and resume the last section, enjoying the last 30 minutes on horseback to the starting point, Casa das Cegonhas.

Once at Casa das Cegonhas you can enjoy the wonderful picnic we have to offer. (Subject to appointment)

This tour can be done with or without a picnic included

Prices

- If you want to take the tour in private, there is a fee of €150
- The experience is carried out with a maximum of 6 people
- The Picnic Tour starts at 10:00 am and ends at 3:00 pm
